English-speaking people are, usually, not that bad. I actually appreciate, when people corret my mangled prononciation, and whenever they do, it's rarely in obnoxious or unfunny way. But don't you date to mispronounce 7th silent "sh" in 4-letter french word, they gonna roll out their guiltonies like it's 1789.
